Deformed Bar in Coil (DBIC)

DBIC is ribbed reinforcing steel supplied in coils instead of straight lengths. Once decoiled and straightened, it feeds directly into mesh welding lines, stirrup benders and automatic cut-and-bend equipment.

Because bars are cut to the exact length required from a continuous coil, DBIC minimises offcut waste and reduces changeovers between bundles, making it a natural fit for high-volume, automated rebar fabrication.
